During November 1st to 4th, staff of UCM and UZ have developed training, as a transference process from LIFE RIBERMINE, to personnel of the mining company Cerrejón (Glencore, Colombia). Specifically, for the transference of geomorphic rehabilitation solutions. The importance of this training is based on the two following evidences: (a) Cerrejon is the largest mining operation in the whole continent of South America; (b) With this transference from LIFE RIBERMINE, Cerrejón will be the first mine in South America implementing Geomorphic Rehabilitation for the basis of its closure.
