On September 23rd, the 45th General Assembly of the Asociación de Empresas de Áridos de la Comunidad Valenciana (ARIVAL) took place at the Reina Sofía Palace of Arts in Valencia.
The coordinator of the LIFE RIBERMINE project and Head of the Mining Service of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, Javier de la Villa, participated with a presentation on the profitability of the new rehabilitation models, entitled “Experiences in the Autonomous Community of Castilla la Mancha”.
In the presentation, examples of actions in the autonomous community were shown and among them the LIFE RIBERMINE project was mentioned as an example of innovation in environmental restoration techniques in mining areas and an explanatory video of the project was shown.
The assembly had 45 attendees, belonging to different companies from the Valencian Community and other parts of the country, resulting in a great opportunity to publicize the project to the different agents of the mining sector.
