Students of the Master in Environmental Geology, from the Faculty of Geological Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid (CUM), visited the works of the LIFE RIBERMINE project in Peñalén, on April 9th 2021. This trip happened within the framework of the Geomorphological Restoration chair, in which the LIFE RIBERMINE scenarios are being used as practical examples, for the development of skills in the design of natural reliefs through “GeoFluv-Natural Regrade”.
During this field work, 18 students were able observe how the vegetation cover is beginning to colonize the restored surfaces, although the spring has not yet started in Peñalén. The expectations for the development of the vegetation cover at the end of May are, therefore, the best!
