The first meeting of the LIFE RIBERMINE Project with the European Union monitor, took place on March 5th, 2020. This meeting, held at the Faculty of Geological Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid, was attended by the coordination, all partners and the auditor of the European Union, Borja Dominguéz (NEEMO-EASME).
The works started with a general presentation of the project by the beneficiaries, followed by a technical review and the presentation of the organization chart of LIFE RIBERMINE by the coordinator.
Then, Borja Domínguez (NEEMO) clarified those present about all the administrative and financial documentation and corresponding administrative processes, to be fulfilled by the beneficiaries during the development of the project. The monitor also highlighted the importance of the dissemination and raising awareness activities to be developed within the project.

The financial review followed, and subsequently, all beneficiaries were individually audited, with the opportunity to clarify doubts and ask questions.
Finally, it was agreed that the next meeting, coincident with the project follow-up meeting, would probably take place by the end of April 2020, and would be conveniently via online, in order to avoid unnecessary travelling by the partners.
This journey, which started at 10am ended at 5.30pm, was very useful and useful for clarifying administrative and other processes, essential to the normal course of the project.
