On 11th May, the Geolodía activities took place, an activity organised by the Geological Society of Spain, which is held in each province with the aim of disseminating the geological heritage and the need to conserve it.
In the province of Guadalajara, the LIFE RIBERMINE project was one of the activities that aroused most interest, with a total of 240 visitors, who were accompanied by José Francisco Martín Duque, professor at the Complutense University of Madrid and project staff.
In addition, on this day, coinciding with this event, the car park for buses and cars, built by the Peñalén Town Council, was used for the first time, in which the project collaborated by adapting the geomorphological remodelling designs of one of the fronts to house this installation.
