LIFE RIBERMINE was present at the “VI National Congress of Aggregates”, held in Oviedo (Spain) from May 25th to 27th, 2022, under the slogan “We contribute to the Goals of 2030 Sustainable Development”.
This Congress is oriented as a forum of the latest news, aimed primarily at businessmen and professionals – scientists and technicians – related to the aggregates sector. The program includes presentations, technical communications, discussion forums, company presentations, round tables, plenary sessions and thematic sessions. The Congress, received more than 800 registrations.
Javier de la Villa Albares, head of the Mining Service of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and coordinator of the LIFE RIBERMINE project, participated in the event with a presentation entitled “Beyond the rehabilitation of natural areas in mining. The holistic ecological and landscape restoration of LIFE RIBERMINE”, in which the project was shown as an example in ecological restoration in the field of mining. The presentation aroused great interest and had 35 face-to-face attendees!
