The LIFE RIBERMINE project was presented as a paper at the XV International Congress on Energy and Mineral Resources held in León from 22 to 24 November 2023. The paper, presented by Cristina Martín Moreno and Javier de la Villa, was entitled THE BEST POSSIBLE MINING RESTORATION AS A GUARANTEE OF TRUE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND UNEQUIVOCAL SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE – THE LIFE RIBERMINE PROJECT and was included in Session 3-Environment. The audience showed their interest in the project by asking some questions after the end of the presentation. The LIFE RIBERMINE project was also represented by María Tejedor Palomino, member of the project as Research Support Staff at UCM.
